MEET THE SUPERVISORS

Melodie Boughton
Lake County
Supervisor

"It is my job to find families the 'perfect match'. That caregiver with the appropriate skill level for their needs and the personality that makes them seem as though they are part of the family. This is the most challenging and rewarding part of my job!

My name is Melodie and I grew up in Lake County then moved to Sacramento where I received training in business administration and computers. After ten years I returned to Lake County and was trained as a Certified Nursing Assistant and phlebotomist. I began working for Mendocino Caregivers in 2001 and in 2002 was offered a position as Supervisor for the Ukiah and Willits areas. I took over as Supervisor of Lake Caregivers in December of 2009.

It is great to represent Lake Caregivers in this community. We work with several local agencies as part of a coordinated effort to provide a standard of excellence of which I am very proud. I work with an incredible team of care providers who are professional, reliable and compassionate.

I understand many of the challenges that families face when a loved one is ill, injured or dealing with a loss of independence. Let us help make your life a little easier. I look forward to serving you!"

Julie Knight
Lake County
Assistant Supervisor

"Hi, my name is Julie Knight. I am the assistant supervisor for Lake Caregivers. I have been working with seniors for over 20 years. I have also worked with developmentally disabled children and adults. I am a certified medical assistant. I am very dedicated to my clients and their needs. My favorite part about this job is the love and caring for others. It is rewarding being able to assist people with their dreams of remaining in their own home during difficult and challenging times, while continuing to maintain their dignity, and a higher level of independence. Providing quality in home care with compassionate skilled care providers is extremely important to me. My goal is to provide care with the appropriate skill level for your needs with a care provider that you feel comfortable with, and with as much consistency as possible. We also have an excellent nursing department staffed by dedicated nurses trained specifically to meet the needs of our clients in the comfort of their own home.

I look forward to working with you."
